Dinner, Then the Show

or drinks after

The Ameris Bank Amphitheatre holds twelve thousand people, and most of them are looking for dinner within the same two-hour window. Siena Restaurant & Bar is a few minutes away at 124 Devore Rd in downtown Alpharetta.

The kitchen opens at 4pm, which is the part that matters. Plenty of places nearby do not, and an 8pm show does not wait.

Getting the Timing Right

read this bit

Book for 5pm or 5.30pm for a 7.30 or 8pm show. That gives you a comfortable ninety minutes without anyone glancing at their phone.

Say you are going to the show when you book and again when you arrive. Food here arrives in waves rather than as courses, so the kitchen paces your table differently once it knows you have somewhere to be. That one sentence is the difference between relaxed and rushed.

If you do not tell us, allow two hours. It is not a quick dinner by design.

What to Order When You Are Short on Time

these come out first

Everything is tapas-style and shared, which works in your favour on a show night because the first plates land quickly. Start with these and add more only if the clock allows. See the full menu.

Or Come Afterwards

the better option

Friday and Saturday the kitchen and bar run to midnight, so coming after the encore is genuinely an option rather than a hopeful one.

Twenty house cocktails, a thirty-bottle wine list and small plates that suit a late table. Walk-ins are welcome at the bar when there is room, which after a show there usually is. More on the bar.

Midweek and Sunday the kitchen closes at 10pm, so an after-show visit only works on a Friday or Saturday.

Practical Things

on a show night

Book Ahead

Concert nights fill the whole of downtown Alpharetta. A table at 5pm on a show night goes days in advance. Book here.

Parking

Parking at Siena is straightforward and there is accessible parking near the door, which is worth having on a night when the venue lots are full.

Closed Monday

Worth checking the day before you drive over. Tuesday to Sunday the kitchen opens at 4pm.

What the Food Is

in one paragraph

Italian and Mediterranean on one menu, which the kitchen calls Medi-talian. House-made pasta, mezze, grilled skewers and lamb chops, all built to share.

It suits a group heading to a show, because nobody has to agree on one cuisine and the plates land in the middle rather than in front of one person.

Siena opened in December 2025 and is women-led. More about it.

What time should we book before a show?

5pm or 5.30pm for a 7.30 or 8pm start. Tell us you are going to the show when you book and again when you arrive, and the kitchen will pace your table for it.

Closed Monday. Tuesday to Thursday 4pm to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 4pm to midnight, Sunday 4pm to 10pm, plus Saturday brunch from 10am.
